Glad for some real news

November 1, 2013

What a pleasure to open my paper and find some news. Also, to have the sections in proper alphabetical order.

We are paying astronomical prices for a subscription, only to find it is overloaded with ads from department stores small and large. I find that in my apartment building those ads are used for paper collections, garbage disposal, etc., but are never read by the newspaper subscribers. They are strictly a nuisance, just like the ads that come in the mail. If the companies had to pay first class postage to have the ads delivered, perhaps the post office would not be in such dire distress.

I hope you continue to print a newspaper that we subscribers can read and enjoy.
