East St. Louis men await federal drug sentences

A pair of East St. Louis men have pleaded guilty to federal crack cocaine distribution charges and are awaiting their sentences.

Michael Scott Jr., 41, and DeAnthony Tillman, 27, admitted guilt Thursday in separate cases at the federal courthouse in East St. Louis.

Scott admitted to selling 28 grams of crack cocaine July 2 to an informant in Washington Park. He will be sentenced Feb. 27.

Tillman admitted to selling two grams of crack cocaine June 27 to an informant in East. St. Louis.

Both men face sentences of up to 20 years in prison and $1 million in fines.
