MONDAY, OCT. 21

6:51 a.m. Criminal damage to property -- First block of North 12th Street. The victim reported the window on her vehicle was damaged.

7:12 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- First block of Grandvue. The victim reported forced entry to his vehicle and property was stolen.

7:13 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 9800 block of Olympia. The victim reported her unlocked vehicle was entered and the vehicle was rummaged through.

7:34 a.m. Burglary -- 2600 block of Cedar Grove. The project manager reported the residence was entered and the water heater, sump pump and air conditioner were stolen.

7:45 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 10000 block of West Main Street. The victim reported forced entry to his vehicle and the vehicle was rummaged through.

7:56 a.m. Attempted burglary to vehicle -- 9500 block of West Main Street. The victim reported the doors on her vehicle were damaged in an attempt to gain entry.

8:10 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 9800 block of Olympia. The victim reported forced entry to his vehicle and property was stolen.

10:23 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- First block of Grandvue. The victim reported forced entry to her vehicle and the vehicle was rummaged through.

2:42 p.m. Possession of a controlled substance, possession of a weapon -- 400 block of South 22nd Street. Two subjects were arrested and taken into custody.

7:14 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- 400 block of Clearview. The victim reported a bedroom window was broken out.

10:34 p.m. Domestic battery -- 500 block of North Douglas. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.

TUESDAY, OCT. 22

9:17 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 400 block of North 39th Street. The victim reported his unlocked vehicle was entered and property was stolen.

10:10 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 400 block of North 39th Street. The victim reported her unlocked vehicle was entered and property was stolen.

12:57 p.m. Attempted burglary -- 900 block of North Illinois. A subject was arrested and taken into custody.

6:04 p.m. Attempted retail theft -- Walmart, 2601 Green Mount Commons. A male subject attempted to steal merchandise before fleeing the store.

7:31 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 400 block of North 39th Street. The victim reported his unlocked vehicle was entered and property was stolen.

7:52 p.m. Theft -- Wendy's, 2600 Green Mount Commons. Management reported money was stolen from an employee's locker.

11:56 p.m. Domestic battery -- 500 block of South Jackson. The victim reported the suspect allegedly battered her.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 23

4:53 a.m. Battery, criminal damage to property -- First block of North Virginia. Keshia N. Appleby, 26, was arrested and taken into custody.

10:58 a.m. Criminal damage to property -- 600 block of East Garfield. The victim reported the driver's side window was broke out of his vehicle.

4:04 p.m. Burglary to residence -- 600 block of Devonshire. The victim reported entry was made to the residence and property was stolen.

5 p.m. Aggravated battery -- St. Elizabeth's, 211 S. 3rd St. The victim reported being struck by the suspect.

6:09 p.m. Barking dog -- 500 block of South 11th Street. The victim reported hisneighbor/suspect allowed his dog to continuously bark. The victim signed a non traffic citation against the suspect.

6:56 p.m. Unlawful use of debit card -- 9800 block of Baltimore Street. The victim reported her debit card was used without her knowledge or permission.

8:38 p.m. Theft of license plate -- Shop N' Save, 4201 N. Belt West. The victim reported her rear license plate was stolen from her vehicle.

11:48 p.m. Domestic battery -- 2200 block of Frank Scott Parkway West. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.

THURSDAY, OCT. 24

7:02 a.m. Retail theft -- Walmart, 2608 Green Mount Commons. Adonis H. Clark, 19, was arrested and taken into custody.

7:02 a.m. Retail theft -- Walmart, 2608 Green Mount Commons. Deron S. Thomas, 38, was arrested and taken into custody.

8:41 a.m. Criminal damage to property -- Jewel Box Salon, 9601 W. Main St. A window was broken on the front door to the business.

10:53 a.m. Residential burglary -- First block of North 18th Street. The victim reported entry was made through an unlocked door and property was stolen.

1:41 p.m. Obstruction of identification, investigation of retail theft subsequent -- 2608 Green Mount Commons. The victim reported the suspect used her name when the suspect was arrested for retail theft.

5:20 p.m. Retail theft -- Kmart, 7230 Westfield Plaza. Erica Brady was arrested and taken into custody.

6:31 p.m. Theft -- Aaron's Service, 5720 N. Belt West. The manager reported a daily deposit was missing from the store.

9 p.m. Traffic stop, unlawful use of weapon, possession of cannabis -- 700 block of South Illinois. The driver/suspect was arrested and taken into custody.

11:09 p.m. Domestic battery -- Sleepy Hollow Motel, 601 S. Belt West. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.

FRIDAY, OCT. 25

12:06 a.m. Burglary to residence -- First block of North 8th Street. The victim reported entry made to his residence and property was stolen.

11:10 a.m. Retail theft -- Walmart, 2608 Green Mount Commons. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.

9:04 p.m. Retail theft -- Walmart, 2608 Green Mount Commons. Security stopped two females outside of the business and recovered a cart of stolen merchandise. The suspects left the area in a vehicle.

9:20 p.m. Retail theft -- Circle K, 6001 W. Main St. Management reported a subject stole merchandise from the business.

10:38 p.m. Drunkenness -- 900 blockof McClintock. Jamaal Evans, 20, was arrested and taken into custody.

SATURDAY, OCT. 26

12:36 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- First block of North 38th Street. The victim reported the passenger side window on his vehicle was broken out.

1:07 p.m. Aggravated battery -- Memorial Hospital, 4500 Memorial Drive. A security guard/victim reported the suspect allegedly battered him.

2:54 p.m. Retail theft -- Retail theft -- Walmart, 2608 Green Mount Commons. Three juveniles were arrested and taken into custody.

8:12 p.m. Drunkenness -- 4 Wade Square. Thomas Alston, 34, was arrested and taken into custody.

8:30 p.m. Theft -- 500 block of Scheel Street. The victim reported property was taken from the residence. The victim suspects three juveniles, who were visiting his sons.

8:45 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- 4200 block of Oak Lane. The victim reported the suspect damaged the screen door of the residence.

SUNDAY, OCT. 27

6:42 a.m. Driving under the influence -- 700 block of South Belt West. Naomi Fledman, 31, was arrested and taken into custody.

10:26 a.m. Trespass to real property -- 1000 block of Freeburg Avenue. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.

12:22 p.m. Domestic battery -- 300 block of South Church Street. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.

3 p.m. Battery -- 300 block of Carlyle. The victim reported the suspect allegedly battered her.

7:27 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- 200 block of North Illinois. The victim reported her screen door had been damaged.

11:37 p.m. Domestic battery -- 600 block of East B Street. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.

MONDAY, OCT. 28

3:55 a.m. Suspicious incident -- 1700 block of North Church. The victim reported she observed a male looking into her window.

7:47 a.m. Burglary -- Illinois Police Crime Lab, 2220 W. Main St. The job supervisor reported the unsecured building and property was stolen.

10:03 a.m. Residential burglary -- First block of Meadowview. Forced entry was made to the residence and household appliances were stolen.

1:52 p.m. Retail theft -- Kmart, 7230 Westfield Plaza. A juvenile was arrested and taken into custody.

6:49 p.m. Aggressive dogs -- 1800 block of Raab Avenue. An officer responded to a call of two aggressive dogs that had chased a female and her children into their home. The female stated the dogs had chased them earlier in the day also. The officer checked the area and located one of the dogs. The dog charged the officer. The dog did not stop when the officer attempted to get him to stop. The officer discharged his weapon, killing the aggressive animal.

7:30 p.m. Theft -- 600 block of South 21st Street. The victim reported property missing from her residence.

7:52 p.m. Retail theft -- Circle K, 10 S. Belt West. Ashley Vernimo, 32, was arrested and taken into custody.

9:27 p.m. Battery -- Wade Square parking lot. The victim reported an acquaintance/suspect confronted and allegedly battered him. The victim signed a non traffic citation against the suspect.

10:53 p.m. Traffic stop, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia -- 1400 block of West Main Street. Jesse Geoppo, 31 and Shenee Booth, 25, were arrested and taken into custody.

TUESDAY, OCT. 29

8:10 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 500 block of North 39th Street. The victim reported her unlocked vehicle was entered and property was stolen.

2:21 p.m. Violation of an order of protection -- 100 block of North 44th Street. The victim reported being contacted by the suspect through another subject violating the order of protection.

4:32 p.m. Retail theft -- Walmart, 2608 Green Mount Commons. Loss prevention reported a male stole merchandise from the business.

5:13 p.m. Criminal damage to property, hit and run -- 1700 block of Mascoutah Avenue. Amy Brueggeman, 42, was arrested and taken into custody.

6:18 p.m. Theft -- 600 block of West Washington. The victim reported property was stolen from her driveway.

6:46 p.m. Theft of mislaid property -- White Castle, 5820 Belleville Crossing. The victim reported he left property at the restaurant. When he returned it was gone.

7:42 p.m. Retail theft -- Circle K, 3801 N. Belt West. The store manager reported 2 males stole merchandise from the business.

7:45 p.m. Retail theft -- Moto Mart, 701 W. Main St. The store manager reported two females stole merchandise from the business.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 30

12:28 a.m. Possession of a controlled substance -- 4500 block of West Main Street. The suspect was in possession of a controlled substances. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

6:51 a.m. Domestic battery -- 1200 block of Dawn Drive. The victim reported her boyfriend/suspect allegedly battered her.

2:49 p.m. Aggravated assault, reckless conduct -- Westhaven School, 118 Westhaven School Road. Witnesses reported observing a male driving recklessly through the parking lot while children were present.

3:55 p.m. Check the well-being -- at 300 North 38th Street. Numerous units were dispatched to 300 North 38th St. in reference to checking on a subject. Officers forced entry and found the subject deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Officers recovered a note from the decedent. Lab and coroner responded to the scene.

5:35 p.m. Retail theft -- Schnucks, 5720 N. Belt West. Gary Smith, 29, was arrested and taken into custody.

6:37 p.m. Burglary to garage -- 8700 block of West Main Street. The victim reported his unlocked garage was entered and property was stolen.

7:17 p.m. Retail theft -- Target, 5601 Belleville Crossing. The suspect stole merchandise from the business.
