I had a different reaction to seeing the pictures of Daquan Barnes in the BND. They show what a cold, arrogant, cocky, cruel young criminal he is. If he enters prison wearing that same expression, I predict (and hope) that his fellow inmates remove that look of sick bravado from his face quickly and permanently.
Ever since Yoko Cullen was murdered, I have wondered about us white people who didn't show any reaction publicly. If it had been white-on-black crime, Johnny Scott and Al Sharpton would have led an angry mob down Main Street, bullhorns blaring.
My heart goes out to Cullen's family. They already know, from the trial, what that smirky, cruel torturer and murderer looks like. Thanks, BND.
