How to help with the Van Etten home renovation project

Metro-east businesses are teaming up to remodel the Van Etten family basement in O'Fallon to accommodate retired Marine Cpl. Chris Van Etten, who lost both of his legs in an explosion in Afghanistan.

If you would like to donate to the project, you can write a check to J.T. McDermott Remodeling with a note in the memo that says, "Van Etten Donation." J.T. McDermott is located at 7427 W. Main St., Belleville, IL 62223.
