St. Louis Cardinals are still winners to the fans

November 9, 2013

Even though the St. Louis Cardinals lost the World Series to Boston, they are still winners. They provided their fans with an exciting year, finishing first in their division with the best record in the National League. Then they won two playoff series with Pittsburgh and Los Angeles to take the National League pennant. It was an outstanding year.

I think manager Mike Matheny and the players handled themselves in a professional manner and we can all be extremely proud of them. Next season also should be promising with all of the talented rookies brought up this year. No doubt, the St. Louis fans have a lot to be thankful for and are blessed with an outstanding Cardinal organization.

Congratulations to Boston on its great year and World Series victory.
