Alorton man pleads guilty to dealing crack

An Alorton man has pleaded guilty to distribution of crack cocaine in federal court.

Dione J. Joyce, 31, is scheduled to be sentenced March 14, according to U.S. District Attorney Stephen R. Wigginton. Joyce faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1 million.

According to court records, in April and May Joyce sold a total of more than 100 grams crack on April 26, May 1 and May 22 of this year to a confidential informant in East St. Louis.
