Four St. Clair County businesses cited for selling alcohol to minors

Four businesses were cited in an alcohol compliance check of on retail establishments and taverns throughout unincorporated St. Clair County and in the city of Belleville.

The sweep was conducted on 10 locations by St. Clair County Sheriff's Investigators Brian Cregger and Maurice McMiller on Tuesday.

The establishments issued a citation for unlawful sale of alcoholic liquor to a minor were:

* Stop & Go Liquor located at 8700 Collinsville Road in Collinsville. Clerk Kari Finn allegedly sold Bud Light beer to a minor.

* Carlyle Food Mart located at 1100 Carlyle Avenue in Belleville. Clerk Bhavikkum Patel allegedly sold Bud Light beer to a minor.

* Rogers Service & Towing located at 7151 State Route 15 in St. Libory. Clerk Jennifer Pearson allegedly sold Bud Light beer to a minor.

* The Oasis located at 611 North 2nd Street, Lenzburg. Clerk Rebecca McNeish-Braun allegedly sold Bud Light beer to a minor.
