Little Caesars coming to Waterloo

November 25, 2013

Little Caesars Pizza will open Sunday in Waterloo.

Bab Njai will open his pizza carryout spot at 933 Illinois Route 3. Njai also owns and operates Little Caesars Pizza in O'Fallon, Collinsville, Edwardsville, Granite City, Wood River and Troy.

A downtown Belleville wine bar is under new ownership, but nothing else about the venue will change.

William Luan, who lives in Missouri, recently purchased The Wine Tap at 223 E. Main St. from Dave Nagle and Allison Babcock. Luan said he plans to maintain the wine bar as is. The number there is still 618-239-9463.

The Gingham Buffalo is a furniture and home decor store that just opened in Edwardsville. You can find them at 6620 Center Grove Road, Suite 1, or call 618-656-8700 to find out more.

MERS/Goodwill has opened a store in Granite City. The 14,212 square-foot store at 3675 Nameoki Road in Granite City is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, go online to mersgoodwill.org/promotion.

And finally, last week, Catholic & Community Credit Union has temporarily closed its branch at 6100 West Main St. in Belleville due to some unexpected ceiling repairs. The branch could reopen in about two weeks. In the meantime, customers can go to the credit union's branches at 1900 Carlyle Ave. in Belleville and 1109 Hartman Lane in Shiloh.
