It took 7-year-old Dakota Berquist six months to lose four of his baby teeth and it took his dad that long to return from his deployment to Kyrgyzstan. On Monday afternoon U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. John Berquist got to pretend for a moment to be a masked dentist at All Grins 4 Kids in Shiloh to surprise his son with his return home. Sgt. Berquist is stationed at Scott Air Force Base and returned Monday morning to his home in Mascoutah after a 30-hour flight from the Middle East. Dakota gave some thought to what he wanted to do now that his dad was home. "What I really want to do is play laser tag," he said. He also wants his dad to play Super Mario World with him and go eat dinner at the Mascoutah Steakhouse.
