Suspect in fatal nightclub shooting held on $9 million bond

The second of two men accused in the shooting death of a 20-year-old man at Denese's Place in East St. Louis has been arrested.

Torcus L. Boone Sr., 42, of East St. Louis, was arrested in Augusta, Ga., Tuesday by the Richmond County Georgia Sheriff's Department. Boone was arrested on a murder warrant out of St. Clair County.

He is charged with shooting to death Kenneth Richards of Cahokia on the parking lot behind the bar in the 200 block of Collinsville Avenue on Sept. 1.

Dameon J. Floore, 36, also has been charged in connection with the murder of Richards. He remains in custody at the St. Clair County Jail.

Bail for Boone was set at $9 million and remains in custody at the Richmond County Jail in Georgia pending extradition to Illinois.
