Stunning police response

November 26, 2013

I am writing as a response to the article, "Family outraged stun gun used on stepdad." I was shocked by the brutality of the police officers in Louisiana, Mo., in denying Ryan Miller back into his home to save his child. I believe actions should be taken because if these kinds of people are enforcing our laws, why should I have any trust in them?

The officers already arrested him and denied him the chance to save his child, but they continued to stun him, three times. I think the Millers are correct to take legal action because it is the instinct of a parent to protect his child, and the police officers did not even try to save the young Riley Miller.

Why was he punished for trying to be a good father? If I were him then I would feel I had failed, and there was nothing that could have been done.
