The Leadership Council Southwestern Illinois has added three new members: Wendy Erhart, executive vice president and head of retail banking for the Frontenac, Mo., branch of Reliance Bank; Rosemarie Brown, exeuctive director of the Chamber of Commerce of Southwestern Madison County; and Tim Giddens, director of engineering for PRI in Dupo. The Leadership Council is a member-based, economic development corporation representing Madison and St. Clair counties.

HSHS Medical Group has selected Dr. Loren Hughes to be its president. Hughes serves as the Southern Illinois Division's Medical Director and had recently practiced family medicine at HSHS Medical Group Family & Internal Medicine Collinsville. He has been with HSHS Medical Group since July 2011.

Dr. Richard Wikiera, a new associate at General & Vascular Surgical Associates in Maryville, has recently received his medical degree at Kansas City University of Medicine. Wikiera is on staff at Anderson Hospital in Maryville and has experience with laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair, colon surgery, abdomen, gallbladder, hernia and breast procedures.

Dr. Christina Dothager has joined Southern Obstetrics and Gynecologic Associates and been appointed to medical staff at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese.

Abigail Ernst has been hired as the marketing and communications manager at the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce.

Ronald McCray has joined Collinsville-based Unity Hospice of Greater St. Louis LLC as a community relations representative. McCray will work further develop and enhance relationships with hospice referral sources in North St. Louis and parts of the metro-east.
