Reward offered for suspect in East St. Louis shooting death

Crimestoppers has increased the reward for the arrest of a teenager accused of shooting to death a man in East St. Louis in January.

St. Louis Regional Crimestoppers has increased the reward up to $2,000 for help tracking down Shaun Henderson, 17, of Washington Park.

Henderson is considered armed and dangerous and is wanted for first-degree murder. Henderson was charged Aug. 21 by the St. Clair County state's attorney's office with first-degree murder. He is accused of chasing down on foot and repeatedly shooting Jordan Anderson on Jan. 12 in the 1400 block of North 44th Street, East St. Louis.

Henderson was last known to be in the East St. Louis area.

Anyone with any information about Henderson's whereabouts can call the Crimestoppers Tip Hotline at 866-371-8477. All calls to CrimeStoppers are anonymous. Tips must be called, texted or e-mailed directly to CrimeStoppers Tip Hotline to be eligible for the CrimeStoppers reward.
