No sympathy at courthouse

December 11, 2013

I was in the hospital for heart problems that I have been dealing with since February. I had two heart procedures in which I almost died. I had complications that kept me in the hospital.

Recently I had a court date. I was not able to make it because I was in the hospital. I called and the hospital faxed a notarized form to the Madison County Courthouse. Even my niece and daughter went to the courthouse in person. I still got a default judgment and was given eight days to move out or else my stuff will be thrown out on the street.
