An East St. Louis man will face four years and nine months in federal prison for possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.
Stephen Benson, 42, who was previously convicted of theft in 2010, was sentenced in federal court in East St. Louis Friday. He also faces three years of supervised release, a $100 special assessment and a fine of $250.
