East St. Louis man shot to death

— Police are investigating the city's 21st homicide of the year.

Adrian Perry, 25, of 1616 N. 43rd St. in East St. Louis, was identified as the victim, Police Chief Michael Floore said.

Police received a call at 8:41 p.m. Friday about shots fired and a man down, Floore said.

Officers went to the 2700 block of Ohio Avenue and found the victim on the ground.

Perry moved from St. Louis to East St. Louis about five months ago, Floore said.

Police have no motives or suspects in Perry's death.

Illinois State Police are assisting East St. Louis Police with the investigation.
