Is a winter warm-up on the way?

Skies are expected to be mostly sunny throughout the day Tuesday. The high temperature will reach 44 degrees, continuing to melt the snow left from last weekend.

Overnight the low will dip to 27. But that should be the last time the temperature reaches below the freezing point until the weekend.

On Wednesday the high will be 54 under sunny skies with a low of 37. During the day Thursday it will be mostly cloudy and 55. There is a 50 percent chance of rain and a low of 45 Thursday night.

The precipitation could continue through the weekend with a 40 percent chance of rain Friday, when the high will reach 50 and the low will get down to 34.
