Nine left homeless after fire in Fairmont City

Five adults and four children are without a home after a fire Tuesday in Fairmont City.

The fire happened in the 2900 block of North 63rd Street and left the family needing food, clothes, and shelter.

American Red Cross disaster volunteers responded to the fire and is helping the family with clothing, food and a place to stay.

Additional information about the cause of the fire was not immediately available Tuesday evening.
