Speak up, agree or disagree

December 26, 2013

"Duck Dynasty's" Phil Robertson just learned the truth about freedom of speech. The freedom to speak is only allowed when others agree with what you're saying.

It's a shame that a person who fought in the Vietnam war to ensure our freedom is now getting censored. What makes one person's view more important than another's view? Why is it wrong to speak what you feel or believe?

I don't always agree with other people's views on any subject.

There has to be an understanding that it's OK to disagree.

It's OK to be different. It's OK for a person to stand up for what he believes in.

There are times, though, when a person has to realize to engage the brain before opening his mouth.

I may not like what you're saying, but that's OK. When a nation moves to censor society, society has no freedoms.
