Conservatives still fair game

December 27, 2013

Well, finally Martin Bashir has resigned from MSNBC after two weeks of soul-searching for those terrible things he said about former governor and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

Ed Schultz, an MSNBC reporter, called radio talk show host Laura Ingraham a "slut" on live television.

Playboy released a revolting top 10 "hate list" of conservative women, listing how each should be sexually assaulted.

Where is the outrage by the National Organization of Women, President Obama, the Revs. Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton, Sen. Richard Durbin, Nancy Pelosi, Oprah Winfrey, the area newspapers, the Democrat and Republican Party leadership and members, and all the Catholic priests and Protestant preachers? Silence from the American Civil Liberties Union and the NAACP. Do the above organizations and individuals agree with those statements? Are they just afraid to say anything?

If these things were said about Michelle Obama, Pelosi or Winfrey, would these same organizations and individuals remain silent? I don't think so.
