ESL to deliver medicine in emergency

January 6, 2014

— City residents who run out of essential prescription medicine and face a "life threatening" situation can get their medication delivered free of charge by calling City Hall at 560-0656.

Anthony Vinson, of the city's emergency services, says that as long as a patient's pharmacy remains open. Medstar Ambulance working with Walgreen's, Schnuck's and Medicate pharmacies will pick up and deliver the medications.

"The city's focus is on servicing those who are meeting life threatening situations and those who are most medically fragile," Vinson said.
