The joke's on us

January 10, 2014

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. It's a good feeling to think of something other than our rotten and sickening politicians, even if it's only once a year.

It's also nice to have some humor once in a while because with the condition our politicians have us in, there isn't much to laugh about. So here goes.

President Obama met with St. Peter and during the meeting he saw a wall of clocks. Obama asked St. Peter, "What's with all the clocks?" St. Peter said, "We all have a clock." Obama asked if the clocks were broke because the hands didn't move. St. Peter said, "The hands move only when the person they belong to lies."

After examining the clocks, Obama asked who belonged to this clock and St. Peter said George Washington. Obama pointed to another clock and St. Peter said Abraham Lincoln. Then Obama asked,"Don't I have one and where is it?" St. Peter said, "Yes, you do. It's in my office and I'm using it for a ceiling fan."

It's ironic how this humor and Obama's legacy coincide. They both spell "liar" in a big way.

I hope everyone has a good year, but with Obama's programs, laws, treaties, etc., it will be a struggle. I also hope people don't have to get involved with Obamacare, the Unaffordable Care Act. It's sickening.
