Officials lift boil order for State Park Place

News-DemocratJanuary 14, 2014

The Mound Public Water and Sewer District on Tuesday lifted a boil order for residents in State Park Place.

Officials issued the boil order because of low water pressure at the water plant.

The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency tested the water and the results are satisfactory, according to a news release from the water and sewer district.

Residents were urged to boil water used for drinking or cooking.
