Police are looking for a pair of registered sex offenders who were believed to have been living in Alton illegally.

Warrants were issued Tuesday for Roger Lawver and Robert Schallenberg by the Madison County State's Attorney's Office.

Lawver, 20, was convicted as a sex offender in Wisconsin. Police said he failed to register when he moved to Alton. Schallenberg, 40, was believed to have been living in an apartment building at 2500 Donald St.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Lawver or Schallenberg is asked to call the Alton Police Department at 463-3505
