A fitting sentence for Cook

January 17, 2014

Why would any judge in any courthouse give a drug-using ex-judge named Michael Cook a break at the time of sentencing? Several years before Cook was appointed a judge in St. Clair County, a friend of mine told me how great of an attorney Cook was and that he would make a great judge.

I don't have to mention his name but I know if he and his wife see this article. he will know that I am right in recommending a sentence of 20 years for abuse of power under the color of authority (black robe) for Cook.
