A Highland resident pled guilty Friday to sending visually explicit photos to teen-aged girls in Florida.
U.S. Attorney Steve Wigginton's office announced that 38-year-old Daniel Shaw had solicited the girls over social media while posing as an 18-year-old man and identified himself as Josh Shackfer between July 30, 2010 and Jan. 12, 2011.
Shaw faces five to 20 years in prison and a fine up to $250,000. He must register as a sex offender as a condition of his supervised release. Sentencing is scheduled for May 30.
