Central picks up easy victory at Red Bud

Logan Kohrmann and Austin Schidle both scored 11 points to lead the Central Cougars past the Red Bud Musketeers 55-32 in a Cahokia Conference game in Red Bud.

Jacob Timmermann chipped in nine points for the Cougars.

Josh Snyder was the lone Red Bud player in double figures with 11 points.

Lebanon 62, Bunker Hill 46

Taylor Schmitt scored 19 points in leading the Lebanon Greyhounds past Bunker Hill.

Tywansley Lashley added 11 points and Zach Becherer had 10 points.

Nashville 39, DuQuoin 23

The Nashville Hornets outscored the Du Quoin Indians 20-6 in the second half.

Keegan Anderson was the top scorer for the Hornets with 11 points, followed by Dylan Mueller with nine points and Daniel Thorson with seven points.

Mater Dei 70, St. Anthony 33

Zach Dieters tossed in 19 points and Norlan Gerling and Ben Lampe each had 14 points as Mater Dei beat Effingham St. Anthony.

Zach Haake contributed 10 points to give the Knights four players in double figures.

Waterloo 53, Jerseyville 44

The Waterloo Bulldogs got 15 points from Shane Lenhardt, 14 points from Ryan Aycock and 12 points from Zach Schaab in beating the Jerseyville Panthers in a Mississippi Valley Conference game.

The Bulldogs outscored to Panthers 16-8 in the fourth quarter to seal the win.

Okawville 86, Wesclin 55

Noah Frederking had 25 points and Jacob Brammeier had 20 points as the Okawville Rockets rolled over the Wesclin Warriors.

Jared Timmermann led the Warriors with 13 points.

The Rockets jumped out to a 24-8 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.
