The weather will be sunny and relatively warm Monday during the daytime hours.

But snow and bitterly cold weather will move into the area Monday night and will hang around for the rest of the week.

The high temperature will reach about 46 Monday afternoon. But it will plummet to a low of 16 Monday night. There is an 80 percent chance of snow overnight, with up to two inches of accumulation expected.

The high temperature will only reach 17 Tuesday under mostly sunny skies. That high will come early in the day and the temperature will fall throughout the afternoon, dropping to 12 by 5 p.m. with an overnight low of 7.

On Wednesday the high will reach 33 under mostly sunny skies with an overnight low of 8. The high Thursday will be 13 while the low will drop to 5.
