Two Belleville men, one woman face armed robbery charges

St. Clair County Sheriff's Department announced Tuesday charges against two Belleville men and one woman in connection with an armed robbery of a person last week.

Lemar Gully, 19, was charged with armed robbery, a class 2 felony, aggravated unlawful use of weapon without a firearm owner's identification card, a class 4 felony, and aggravated unlawful use of weapon, a class 4 felony. Gully is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Both Dwayne Morgan, 20, and Zoey Fender, 20, were charged with robbery, a class 2 felony, and theft from a person, a class 3 felony. Morgan and Fender are each being held in lieu of $75,000 bail.

The charges are a result of armed robbery that allegedly occurred at 1:10 p.m. on Jan. 15 in the 1300 block of West Fourth Avenue in unincorporated Belleville.

The victim reported he was contacted by a friend to hangout. When the victim walked up to a vehicle parked in the driveway and sat in the back seat, he reported a passenger in the vehicle pointed a handgun at him, demanded money and some marijuana. The victim gave them a small amount of U.S. currency and marijuana.

Gully, Morgan and Fender are currently in custody at St. Clair County Jail.
