Belleville man sentenced for 2 armed robberies at Circle K

A Belleville man was sentenced Friday to serve 11 years and three months in prison for his part in two armed robberies at the same convenience store in Belleville.

London M. Brown, 21, was sentenced in federal court in East St. Louis for two armed robberies at the Circle K at 2709 W. Main St., according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Brown committed the first robbery on July 22 armed with a .22-caliber rifle, and robbed a store clerk of $100. He committed the second robbery on Aug. 15 armed with the same gun, and robbed a different clerk of $358.
