9 arrested in St. Clair County drug sweep

Nine people were arrested Thursday morning as part of a warrant sweep by the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department Drug Tactical Unit.

The following people were arrested:

* Robert M. Brucker, 32, possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $30,000.

* Maria L. Neumeyer, 41, possession of a controlled substance and possession of methamphetamines. Bail was set at $30,000.

* Ashley N. Thomas, 28, possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $15,000.

* Emily J. Williams, 25, possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $100,000.

* Shantez L. Rias, 30, possession of cannabis. Bail was set at $25,000.

* Vernon E. Lowery, 47, possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $50,000.

* Dwayne M. Williams, 25, possession of cannabis. Bail was set at $75,000.

* James M. Reagan, 25, possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $15,000.

* Nicole S. Reagan, 21, possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $15,000.

On Wednesday, State's Attorney Brendan Kelly's office issued warrants on 18 individuals. The remaining warrants were turned over the Marshals Service.

The Sheriff's Department Drug Tactical Unit was joined by the U.S. Marshal Service, Illinois State Police, Belleville Police Department, Millstadt Police Department and Cahokia Police Department to conduct the sweep at 6 a.m. Thursday.
