Freezing rain coated untreated sidewalks and parking lots Friday night.
According to the National Weather Service, there is an 80 percent chance of rain Saturday. The low will bottom out at 32 but will rise to 37 by sunrise on Saturday on the way to a high temperature of 42 reached by 9 a.m. The temperature will drop throughout the rest of the day, falling to 33 by dusk.
Because of the warmer than freezing temperatures, the National Weather Service predicts no accumulation of ice and the possibility of an inch or less of sleet or snow.
As the precipitation moves out of the area, the temperature will drop to a low of 19 overnight Saturday.
On Sunday the high will be 26 under partly sunny skies.
But a 70 percent chance of snow re-enters the forecast on Tuesday.
