Change for the worst

February 4, 2014

More than 3.3 million people are enrolled in his debacle called Obamacare while 6.5 million have lost health care coverage. Real people, real Americans have lost their health care coverage. Real people, real Americans, are having their lives disrupted on a daily basis.

The fallout from Obamacare is like a nuclear accident. It will contaminate America for generations to come.

Under President Obama, America has become a third-rate nation that can't pay its bills, as our national debt hits $17 trillion and climbs by the second.

Obama's legacy is a failed administration; 7 percent unemployment is the new normal and food stamp use hits a record high. The Middle East is on fire as the president plays golf. That's similar to the Emperor Nero played his violin while Rome burned. Article 1 of our Constitution is tossed into the trash along with our Second and Fourth amendments. Tossed into the trash by Obama.

One thing for sure, he promised change. Change for the worst, that is what America got.

Why would anyone want to change the greatest country in the world?

This country was built on Christianity. The moment prayer and discipline were removed from our schools, change began. The Constitution is not a Christian document, but it was written by Christians.

"It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor." -- George Washington. "I rely upon the merits of Jesus Christ for a pardon of all my sins." -- Samuel Adams. "The Declaration of Independence laid the cornerstone of human government upon the first precepts of Christianity." -- John Adams.

Our foundation is being chiseled away and now we are seeing the consequences. A society that feels people can do whatever they want without accepting responsibility, no real sense of what is right or wrong, no fear of consequences, no respect, morals or ethics.

How does the Illinois governor lay his hand on the holy Bible and take the oath of office, then with great passion rush to pass a law that allows homosexual marriage?

We are a Christian country, not Islamic, Buddhist, atheist or any other. If this change continues, we are sure to become Third World, sure to incorporate socialism, sure to lose most of the freedoms we have left. Most importantly, we will have completely lost sight of what made this country as great as it once was: God and the Bible.
