Lynx add 39 players to their football program

The Lindenwood University-Belleville Lynx added 39 players for the 2014 season on Wednesday.

The Lynx and coach Jeff Fisher will be welcoming 28 high school seniors and 11 college transfers into the program.

That group includes four players in East St. Louis graduates Keonte Minor (receiver) and Ronald Anthony (defensive back), Wood River's Aaron Ragusa (quarterback) and Dionte Sullivan (defensive back).

All four metro-east players are transfers, Minor having played at Arkansas, Anthony at Kentucky State, Sullivan at Nofolk State and Ragusa at Lewis and Clark.

The recruiting class includes 16 players from Illinois, 10 from Florida, nine from Missouri, two from Tennessee and one apiece from California and Ohio. The group features 21 offensive players, 17 defensive players and a kicker.
