OFallon Masonic Lodge breakfast
The O'Fallon Masons are holding their monthly public breakfast and United Services Organization fundraiser event. From 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 8 at the lodge located at 122 E. State St. in O'Fallon.
Adults cost $7 and children $4. Special features include All-You-Can-Eat biscuits and gravy, pancakes, sausage, eggs, juice and coffee--all cooked to order. One dollar from each adult breakfast will be donated to the USO at Lambert-St.Louis.
To date, Lodge No. 576 has donated over $6,615 to the USO. Everyone from the public is welcome.

OPD Gender discussion Monday
The OFallon Police Department is hosting a discussion on the socialization of gender roles in society at 7 p.m., Monday, Feb. 10.
The Violence Prevention Center of Southwestern Illinois in conjunction with the Illinois Family Violence Coordinating Council have invited Amanda Pinkham, Scott Air Force Base Family Advocacy Advocate to facilitate the evening discussion.
A film, "Killing Us Softly," will be featured. The video works to breakdown the ways in which we view women and socialization through advertising.

Anyone with a pet rabbit is invited to a free educational meeting of the House Rabbit Society at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, in the O'Fallon Public Safety Building at 285 N. Seven Hills Rd. OFallon Township will hold their monthly rummage sale at the Township Building, 801 E. State St., OFallon, at 7 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Feb. 8. The OFallon Knights of Columbus at 402 E. Highway 50, will host Mark and Mark Comedy Show at 8:30 p.m. Friday Feb. 7. No charge.

Corpus Christi Catholic Church will host an all you can eat breakfast buffet 8 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, in its parish center in Shiloh. A two-day course to help older drivers improve driving skills will be offered Monday, Feb. 10, and Tuesday, Feb. 11, at the OFallon Township Building, 801 E. State St. The class is 1 to 5 p.m. each day. Course material costs $15 for AARP members and $20 for all others. The OFallon Township High School Golden Girls dance teams and boosters will present the fifth annual Dance and Desserts Extravaganza at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, in the Milburn campus auditorium, 650 Milburn School Road.
