Parents: What do you think of schools starting 2 hours late on snowy days?

News-DemocratFebruary 12, 2014

In light of all the snow days this school year, one metro-east school district -- Mascoutah -- is implementing a delayed start option where students at all levels -- elementary, middle and high school -- would start two hours later on some inclement weather days. Other area school districts are also considering this option.

Are you a parent of a student who attends a Mascoutah school? News-Democrat education reporter Jamie Forsythe would like to hear your thoughts on the delayed start option. She can be reached at 618-239-2562 or email
