ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

Wednesday, FEB. 12

Gina M. Mathis, 28, of 837 Upper Kingston Road, Prattville, Ala., arrested on suspicion of theft control intent from between Nov. 27, 2013 and Dec. 1, 2013 by Fairview Heights police. Mathis allegedly, took property from Gordman's, being cash and gift cards, total value in excess of $500, said offenses constituting a series of acts performed at different times in furtherance of a single intention and design.

Kevin L. Simms, 32, of 5085 Durant, St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of three counts of theft, subsequent offense and criminal damage to property on or about Feb. 10 by Fairview Heights police. Simms allegedly, took property of Case 4 Cell, being U.S. currency, total value not in excess of $500; took property from Dial With Style, being U.S. currency, total value not in excess of $500; took property from Totally Toys, being U.S. currency, total value not in excess of $500; knowingly damaged property of CBL and Associates Management Inc. d/a St. Clair Square, being multiple kiosk tarps within St. Clair Square Mall, located at 134 St. Clair Square, Fairview Heights, said damage in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of Burglary 2nd Degree on Oct. 9, 2001. (*16*)

Thomas D. Flakes, 18, of 318 Lebanon Ave., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of two counts of home invasion on or about Aug. 11, 2013 by Belleville police. Flakes allegedly, entered the dwelling place of Jodie Hawkins, located at 20 S. 9th St., Belleville, knowing Jodie Hawkins to be present within that dwelling place and while armed with a firearm, used force against Jodie Hawkins in that said defendant struck her in the face; knowingly and without authority entered the dwelling place of jodie Hawkins, located at 20 S. 9th St., Belleville, knowing Brandon Stevenson to be present within that dwelling place and while armed with a firearm, used force against Brandon Stevenson in that said defendant struck Brandon Stevenson in the face; while carrying a firearm on his person, knowingly took property, being U.S. currency from the presence of Jodie Hawkins by the use of force; intentionally shot a companion animal, a dog, causing that companion animal to suffer serious injury and resulting in that companion animal being euthanized; while carrying a firearm on his person, knowingly took property, being U.S. currency from the presence of Cale Dees, by threatening the imminent use of force.

Amanda M. Kent, 26, of 611 Parkview Drive, O'Fallon, arrested on suspicion of first degree murder on or about Feb. 9 by St. Clair County sheriff. Kent allegedly, or one for whose conduct she is legally responsible without lawful justification, while committing a forcible felony, robbery, shot Darrin Hayes repeatedly, and thereby caused the death of Darrin Hayes.

Brittney Y. Moore, 23, of 423 S. 20th St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of obstructing justice on or about Feb. 9 by St. Clair County sheriff. Moore allegedly, furnished false information, specifically the whereabouts of Anthony Allen during a portion of the afternoon of Feb. 9, with the intent to obstruct the prosecution of Anthony Allen.

Daryl R. Bean, 52, of 113 E. D St., Apt. 6, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery on or about Jan. 19 by St. Clair County sheriff. Bean allegedly, in committing a battery, knowingly caused great bodily harm to Michael Miller, in that he fractured bones in Miller's face by striking him.

Thomas S. Drost, 48, of 301 W. Zupan St., Maryville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence and driving on a revoked driver's license on or about Feb. 10, by Illinois State Police. Drost allegedly, drove a gray 2001 Chevrolet pickup on Interstate 255 in St. Clair County, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and when the defendant's driving privileges were revoked.

Darran C. Perkins, 18, of 51 Delores Drive, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of two counts of attempted first degree murder, two counts of armed violence and two counts of aggravated battery on or about Feb. 8 by Cahokia police. Perkins allegedly, performed a substantial step toward the commission of that offense, without justification and with the intent to kill or do great bodily harm to Sharmon Johnson, shot Sharmon Johnson multiple times with a handgun; performed a substantial step toward the commission of that offense, without lawful justification an with the intent to kill or do great harm to Dorian Harris, pointed a handgun at Harris and pulled the trigger multiple times; knowingly caused great bodily harm to Sharmon Johnson, in that he shot Sharmon Johnson in the neck with a handgun, and the said defendant personally discharged a handgun; knowingly caused great bodily harm to Sharmon Johnson, in that he shot Sharmon Johnson in the torso with a handgun, and the said defendant personally discharged a handgun; knowingly and by means of discharging a firearm caused an injury to Sharmon Johnson in that said defendant shot Sharmon Johnson in the neck with a handgun; knowingly and by means of discharging a firearm caused an injury to Sharmon Johnson in that said defendant shot Sharmon Johnson in the torso with a handgun.

Glynna A. Wall-Jines, 44, of 8 Robin Court, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of obstructing justice on or about Feb. 7 by St. Clair County sheriff. Wall-Jines allegedly, with the intent to obstruct the prosecution of Mohammad Abuharba, knowingly furnished false information to Jess Hartsoe, a police officer with the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department, as to the whereabouts of her son Mohammed Abuharba, in that she related to the officer that Mohammed Abuharba was with her on Feb. 6 during the time of the murder of William Harriel Jr., knowing that such information was false.

THURSDAY, FEB. 13

Jeffrey D. Strait, 47, of 2716 Lake Lucerne Drive, Shiloh, arrested on suspicion of four counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse from between March 1, 2009 to Aug. 31, 2009 by Shiloh police. Strait allegedly, committed acts of sexual abuse with a male minor with the initials R.L., date of birth, April. 5, 1995.

Corey D. Brinkley, 26, of 21 Fairview Heights Drive, Fairview Heights, arrested on suspicion of unlawful failure to register as a violent offender against youth on or about Feb. 21 by Fairview Heights police. Brinkley allegedly, a violent offender against youth, knowingly failed to register in accordance with the provisions of the Murderer and Violent Offender Against Youth Registration Act, with the Chief of Police of the city of Fairview Heights, within 5 days of establishing a residence within that city.

Kenneth C. Walton IV, 21, of 1031 N. 71st St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of residential burglary on or about Jan. 2 by Fairview Heights police. Walton allegedly, entered into the dwelling place of Thelma Sidney, located at 117 Susan Court, Fairview Heights, with the intent to commit theft therein.

Tiree Fox, 25, of 1104 Virginia, Collinsville, arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance on or about Dec. 27, 2013 by Fairview Heights police. Fox allegedly, had in her possession less than 1 gram of a substance containing heroin.

James Rodriguez, 47, of 9418 Minerva Ave., Overland, Mo., arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft on or about Feb. 11 by O'Fallon police. Rodriguez allegedly, entered into a building of McBride and Sons, located at 917 Sturbridge Trail, O'Fallon, with the intent to commit theft therein; took property of McBride and Sons, being an air conditioning unit located at 868 Harbor Woods Drive, Fairview Heights, total value in excess of $500.

Robert Petraitis II, 28, of 318 N. 4th St., Waterloo, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about Feb. 12 by St. Clair County sheriff. Petraitis allegedly, had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin.

Conor A. McHenry, 25, of 15 E. Laurel St., Millstadt, arrested on suspicion of two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a place of religious worship and unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about Feb. 6 by St. Clair County sheriff. McHenry allegedly, while within 1,000 feet of a place of religious worship, being the Zion Evangelical Church, located at 117 W. White St., Millstadt, knowingly delivered to a confidential source less than 1 gram of a substance containing heroin; knowingly had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin.

James T. Ellis Jr., 21, of 513 S. 23rd St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a firearm ammunition by a felon on or about Feb. 12 by Swansea police. Ellis allegedly, a person who has been convicted of a felony, knowingly possession on his person firearm ammunition, being 2 9mm bullets and one .380 bullet. The person had been previously convicted of Residential burglary on Oct. 30, 2012.

Paris M. Traylor, 26, of East St. Louis, multiple warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Reginald T. King, 45, of Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery by Cahokia police.

Harold J. Matthews, 37, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of suspended or revoked driver's license by St. Clair County sheriff.

Timothy A. Taylor, 57, of Liberty, Mo., arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance by Fairview Heights police.

Schyler W. Gann, 21, of Memphis, Tenn., warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Almahde H. Nijmeh, 45, of Swansea, arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, no driver's license and traffic violation by St. Clair County sheriff.

Aida Kusuran, 27, of St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, illegal transportation, three traffic violations and warrant arrest by Illinois State Police.

Deandre Usery, 32, of St. Louis, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Amanda M. Townsend, 30, of Lenzburg, arrested on suspicion of probation violation and multiple warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Amanda J. Caskey, 26, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of operating uninsured motor vehicle, suspended or revoked driver's license and traffic violation by Belleville police.

Nathaniel D. Williams, 34, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of robbery by Belleville police.

Ivory L. Davis, 24, of Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicular hijacking by Belleville police.
