Two more charged in Columbia burglary spree

The Columbia Police Department is looking for two Missouri men in connection to a string of burglaries in town.

Justin D. Sherrard, 23, of 12807 Vista Ridge Lane in St. Louis, and Aubrey W. Young, 27, of 4317 Sulla Drive in Florissant, were each charged with residential burglary, Police Chief Joseph Edwards said.

The charges are in connection with burglaries Jan. 28 in the 1700 block of Clover Ridge and Feb. 3 in the 600 block of Pines Way.

Neither suspect was in custody Tuesday, Edwards said. Bail was set at $50,000 each.

A total of six people have been charged in connection to burglaries in the past two months in Columbia.

Kerry M. Gum, 19, Zachary S. Wood, 18, and Tyler Ashcraft, 18, all of Caseyville, have been charged in relation to the crimes. A juvenile teen, whose name was not released, previously was charged.
