Fezziwig's now offers Culinary Experience

News-DemocratFebruary 25, 2014

— Fezziwig's Market Place introduces its Culinary Experience this Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at its downtown Lebanon store, 220 W. St. Louis St.

Expanding its operation in both size and girth, the tea, wine and food emporium will now offer cooking classes during business hours in addition to after-hours events. Classes can accommodate 20 to 24.

When the new space for Culinary Experience isn't occupied by an event, customers can sit and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, fresh baked scones or a glass of wine.

About 100 events in the Culinary Experience are scheduled this year, with 15 in March. Classes will mostly be demonstrations, but some will be hands-on and always include recipes. Wines by the glass will be available for purchase.

All classes include a discount coupon to use in the store on the day of the event.

There also will be Casual Wine Tasting from 2-4 p.m. most Saturdays. Reservations are not needed, but you must be 21 or older to participate. Taste up to 2 ounces of wine free or sample all five of that day's selection for $10.

Here is a sample of upcoming culinary classes. To see a complete list of events, go to fezziwigsmarket.com and click on calendar.
