Make your drive smoother by keeping updated on major road construction in St. Clair and Madison counties and Missouri.

St. Clair COUNTY

Illinois 15 between Illinois 13 and Green Mount Road: Lane restrictions in both directions.

Illinois 158: Lane restrictions; exit closed to and from westbound Illinois 15. South Belt West closed from State Street to Gerri Ann Drive. Use alternate route.

Interstates 64 and 255

Lane restrictions on ramps from 64 to 255

Interstate 64

18th Street to Illinois 111 in East St. Louis: Lane restrictions in both directions.

Between Exit 9 and Exit 16 in Fairview Heights: Lane restrictions in both directions.

Madison County

Illinois 143, east of U.S. 40 to Sugar Creek: Traffic reduced to one lane controlled by temproary traffic signals.

Interstate 255 south of Collinsville Road to north of Horse Shoe Lake Road: Lane restrictions in both directions.

Interstate 270, Chain of Rocks Canal to Illinois 3: Lane restrictions in both directions.

Interstate 270, Illinois 3 to Interstate 55: lane restrictions in both directions for milling and resurfacing.

Illinois 159, Collinsville, Clay Street to Belt Line Road: Lane restrictions in both directions.

Illinois 3, Granite City, between Pontoon Road and Illinois 143: Lane restrictions in both directions.

Renken Road, Prairietown, between Illinois 159 and east of Prairietown: One way traffic with flaggers. April 1 through June 1.

Missouri

Motorists should be aware of the following ongoing closures:

Interstate 44, St. Louis City, Walnut over Interstate 70 is closed until April.

Interstate 64, St. Louis City, the Vandeventer ramp to westbound Interstate 64 is closed.

Interstate 64, St. Louis City, the eastbound Interstate 64 exit ramp to Vandeventer is closed until spring 2014.

Interstate 64, St. Louis City, lanes shift between Newstead and Boyle until summer 2014. The right lane of eastbound Interstate 64 exits at Kingshighway.

Upcoming

Interstate 64, near the Science Center, will be closed in both directions, perhaps as early as March 7 if weather allows for work.
