LU-Belleville men finish second in bowling meet

— The Lindenwood University-Belleville men's and women's bowling teams took part in the Vincennes Trailblazer tournament.

Seven women's teams and nine men's varsity teams took part in the event

The Lady Lynx finished in fifth place. Aurora Maze led the team with an average of 166.

On the men's side, LU-Belleville wound up with a second-place finish. That marked the highest finish in any tournament for the Lynx and the first finals appearance. Jon Heimann was named to the all-tournament team.

Both the men's and women's teams are back in action Saturday and Sunday when they travel to Indianapolis, Ind. to take part in the Blackhaul Hoosier Classic, games start at 8 am.
