What qualifies you for this position?

I am a retired military veteran who fulfilled two tours of duty in Iraq where I was awarded a Bronze Star for combat operations I oversaw. I am a taxpaying resident of Madison County whose children attend elementary school in the Edwardsville school district. I am currently on the County Board where I enjoy being able to help my neighbors with county business while voting against any new tax burden to Madison County residents.

What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it?

My main priority is address the needs of my constituents quickly and efficiently. I make it a priority to be available to assist them. That, to me, is the main job of a County Board member. I also feel strongly about controlling county spending and taxes and I have a voting record against county budget increases, against raising salaries for county officials and against unnecessary salary stipends for well paid county officials. I want my family to live and grow in an economically thriving and safe community.
