Black Violin at SIUE

Kevin "Kev Marcus" Sylvester and Wilmer "Wil B" Baptiste addresses a group of students in the SIUE Suzuki program. The two make up the group called Black Violin. The group conducted a lecture and demonstration Monday afternoon for the Suzuki students. The classically trained musicians fuse hip hop and other genres together to create their unique sound. The SIUE Arts and Issues series brought the group in for a performance Monday evening in the Meridian Ballroom at SIUE. The next event in the series will be a debate between James Carville and Alberto Gonzales at SIUE on April 3, 2014 at 7:30 p.m.
