Edwardsville's Roundtree voted first-team all-state by IBCA

Edwardsville High School point guard Shawn Roundtree earned first-team all-state honors on the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Class 3A-4A All-State Team announced Friday.

Cahokia senior Darius Austin and Edwardsville senior Armon Fletcher both were voted second-team all-state and Marquette guard Deion Lavender made third-team all-state.

Althoff freshman Jordan Goodwin, O'Fallon junior and Cahokia senior Carleton "C.J." Rivers were all voted fourth-team all-state.

Special mention all-state players were Belleville East senior Darreon Reddick, East St. Louis senior Darrion Beane and Alton senior De'Antae McMurray.

Earning honorable mention all-state honors were Belleville East senior Cameron Hunter, Althoff sophomore Brendon Gooch, Collinsville junior Emondre Rickman, Freeburg senior Justin Diecker, Waterloo senior Shane Lenhardt and Civic Memorial junior Jakob Lowrance.
