Single-game Grizzlies tickets go on sale Tuesday

— Single-game tickets for the 2014 Gateway Grizzlies season will go on sale Tuesday beginning at 9 a.m.

Fans will be able to purchase the single-game tickets at GCS Ballpark, by calling the Grizzlies at 618-337-3000 or online at www.gatewaygrizzlies.com.

Ticket prices remain the same for the upcoming season. Fans can purchase tickets for as low as 5 dollars (General Admission), while Field Box tickets are 10 dollars in advance and 11 dollars day of the game.

The Grizzlies 2014 regular season opener is May 16 when they take on the Traverse City Beach Bums at GCS Ballpark. Season and group tickets are on sale now.

Fireworks dates

GCS Ballpark is the place to be for fireworks during the summer as the Grizzlies reveal seven fireworks nights for the upcoming season.

"If you think you have seen fireworks, you haven't seen anything yet," Grizzlies general manager Steve Gomric said. "I plan on putting three different fire departments on call for this season!"

The fireworks extravaganza schedule kicks off May 16 when the Grizzlies open up their season against the Traverse City Beach Bums.

Once again, GCS Ballpark will have three consecutive fireworks nights from July 3-5.

The Grizzlies are the proud hosts of the 2014 Frontier League all-star game which will include fireworks after the July 16 game.

In addition, Gateway will have fireworks Aug. 8 and during the home regular season finale Aug. 31 for the Greatest Night in Baseball.
