ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

FRIDAY, MARCH 21

Corey L. Hoffman, 39, of 3632 McCasland Ave., Alorton, arrested on suspicion of domestic battery, subsequent offense and interference in reporting domestic violence on or about Aug. 23, 2013 by East St. Louis police. Hoffman allegedly, caused bodily harm to Stella M. Williams, a family/household member, in that said defendant struck Stella M. Williams in teh head with a bottle; having committed an act of domestic violence, striking Stella M. Williams about the head, then prevented Stella M. Williams from calling 911 Emerency Telephone System by taking her cell phone. Defendant had been previously conficted of Domestic Battery, Subsequent Offense on July 18, 2013.

Gerald L. Stuck, 35, of 1229 N. 17th St., Apt. 30, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about Dec. 31, 013 by St. Clair County sheriff. Stuck allegedly, had in his possession less than one gram of a substance containing Buprenorphone.

Ladarrius Gully, 30, of 3821 Monroe, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about Jan. 17, 2011 by St. Clair County sheriff. Gully allegedly, had in his possession a substance containing cocaine.

Barbara J. Langley, 52, of 7 Grand Ave., Apt. D, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance on or about Dec. 20, 2013 by St. Clair County sheriff. Langley allegedly, had in her possession less than one gram of a substance containing Buprenorphine.

Brian Heggemeier, 45, of 15939 S. Grand Road, Nashville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on revoked license subsequent on or about March 19 by Mascoutah police. Heggemeier allegedly, drove a white Chevrolet Blazer IL Route 4 in Mascoutah, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and during a period in which the defendant's driving privileges were revoked. Defendant had been previously convicted of Drivin gwhile LIcense is revoked on May 18, 2004.

Andrew L. Lindsay, 22, of 520 John St., Collinsville, arrested on suspicion of domestic battery on or about March 13 by St. Clair County sheriff. Lindsay allegedly, caused bodily harm to Tiffany J. Lindsay, a family/household member, in that the defendant struck Lindsay in the face with his fist. Defendant had been previously convicted of Domestic Battery on Feb. 24, 2012.

Carey C. Gilmore, 48, of 27 Judith, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a place of religious worship and unlawful possession with the intent to deliver cannabis on or about March 20 by St. Clair County sheriff. Gilmore allegedly, while within 1,000 feet of place of religious worship, being the Full Gospel of Christ Church, located at 2394 Lorraine, Cahokia, knowingly possessed with the intent to deliver, less than one gram of a substance containing cocaine; knowingly possessed with the intent to deliver more than 30 grams but less than 500 grams of a substance containing cannabis.

Gregory C. Wells, 40, of 219 N. Church St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and threatening a public official on or about March 21 by Fairview Heights police. Wells allegedly, while operating a motor vehicle, a 1998 Mercedes E320 was given a visual signal by a police officer, Patrolman Teschendord, Fairview Heights Police Department, who was in police uniform and driving a vehicle which displayed illuminated, oscillating, rotating or flashing red or blue lights which when used in conjunction with an audible horn or siren would indicate the vehicle to be an offical police vehicle, directing the defendant to bring said vehicle to a stop, willfully fled or attempted to elude the police officer and that when willfully fleeing or attempting to elude the police officer, the defendant disobeyed two or more official traffic control devices, being stop signs; knowingly delivered to a public official, being Det. Andrew Ward of the Fairview Heights pOlice Department, a communication containing a threat that could place Det. Andrew Ward, in reasonable apprehension of further bodily harm and the threat was conveyed because of the performance of some public duty or because of the hositility of the defendant toward the status or position of Det. Ward and the threat contained specific facts indicative of a unique threat to the person of Det. Ward and not a general threat of harm.

MONDAY, MARCH 24

Gregory T. Anthony, 46, of 639 N. 31st St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of driving on revoked or suspended license on or about March 21 by Fairview Heights police. Anthony allegedly, drove a red Buick, on Central Ave., East St. Louis, at a time when defendant's driver's license was suspended. Defendant had been previously convicted of Driving While License is Suspended on July 3, 2013.

Jerry L. Emlet, 42, of 3200 Seven Pines Road, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of two counts of burglary on or about March 12 by Belleville police. Emlet allegedly, entered into a building of Mission Thrift Store, located at 653A Carlyle Ave., Belleville with the intent to commit theft therein.

Matthew C. Schwartz, 28, of 1906 Chevy Chase Drive, Caseyville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence on or about March 22 by St. Clair County sheriff. Schwartz allegedly drove a 2006 Chevrolet Impals, on Bernice St., St. Clair County, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and during a period in which the defendant's driving privileges were suspended.

Elizabeth R. Young, 32, of 46 Patricia Lane, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of criminal neglect of a person with a disability on or about March 11 by Belleville police. Young allegedly, a caregiver, failed to perform acts that she knew or reasonably should have known were necessary to maintain or preserve the life or health of Billy Ray Young, a disabled person, and said failure caused Billy Ray Young's life to be endangered, health to be injured, or pre-existing physical condition to deteriorate, in that the defendant failed to maintain Billy Ray Young's medical, nutritional and hygienic needs.

Richard R. Young, 48, of 46 Patricia Lane, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of criminal neglect of a person with a disability on or about March 11 by Belleville police. FEDERAL COURT HOUSE

EAST ST. LOUIS

Tisa V. Vaughn, 49, of Florissant, Mo., was found guilty Thursday at the Melvin Price Federal Courthouse that she engaged to commit health care fraud. Vaughn was the personal assistant for her sister, a Medicaid recipient in East St. Louis and billed the Home Services Program for the State of Illinois for hours of care when she was either not caring for her sister or her sister was in the hospital. She faces up to 10 years in prison, a $250,000 and up to three years supervised release. Sentencing is scheduled for July 11.
