Let elected leaders do the job

April 5, 2014

If the generals from Scott Air Force Base and/or the congressmen and senators from Illinois can't keep Scott open, they are not doing their job and shouldn't be in office. I can't see where a firm or an ex-congressman can do a better job of representing Scott. So why waste taxpayers money?

And if Illinois 158 between Interstate 64 and the Shiloh Gate is any example as to how important Scott is to Illinois, then we are in trouble, because that road was in bad shape long before this winter.
