The folks who brought you the former Grandpa Pigeon's and current Deals Nothing Over A Dollar are bringing another retailer to Fairview Heights.

Tom Hollie and Rick Meyer, who operated the former Grandpa Pigeon's stores, have partnered with former Save A Lot Chief Executive Officer Bill Shaner, who also opened the Deals Nothing Over A Dollar stores, which also operates in Fairview Heights. Together they have created Here Today, a deep discount store, and opened the first in Florissant, Mo.

The second is coming this summer to Lincoln Place in Fairview Heights. The business will reoccupy the 20,760-square-foot space at 5905 N. Illinois St., which Office Depot had occupied until last November. The business anticipates creating 25 to 30 jobs and could open by July.
