Man charged with stealing tools from National Guard

A Dupo man has been charged with stealing tools from the National Guard Armory in East St. Louis.

Michael W. Morrison, 24, is charged with one count of theft of government property. He is accused of taking tools worth more than $500 from the field maintenance shop. The theft is believed to have occurred between Sept. 8 and Dec. 28.

Bail has been set at $25,000. Morrison has not yet been taken into custody.
